Choosing an Orangery or Conservatory?
If you’ve ever seen an orangery in situ at a house, you will know that it very much looks like a natural extension of a property and matches its aesthetic. The brickwork is largely responsible for that, although it does have a decent amount of glass too. There will be no better place to spend your time in, day in, day out.

Traditional Orangery or Contemporary Orangery?
It’s your design, so you only rightly get the final say on everything to do with it. A contemporary orangery is a fantastic low-cost option and promises the same bells and whistles that you get in a traditional orangery. It is influenced by the solid brick structure of a traditional orangery and looks very much like one on the inside.
But there is one noticeable difference and it’s that a contemporary orangery doesn’t include the flat perimeter around the roof that’s present in a traditional orangery.
Accomplish any look!
Temperature regulation couldn’t be any better than it is within a modern glass roof design with intelligent glazing. The seasons may change but the internal temperature inside the orangery will stay consistently comfortable, enabling you to get the most out of your investment.
A question to think about
What’s more important to you – that your orangery is in sync with your home’s look or that it enhances your garden area? The answer to this will point you in the direction of the right design.

An orangery needs to be able to cope with the elements so whether it’s raining, sleeting, or snowing it should remain leak free and look as good as it did at the time of the original installation. The atmosphere within an orangery can only be cosy and comfortable if you have a top-quality roof fitted to it. We offer three different types of roofing systems for orangeries: the Classic Roof, Cornice Roof, and the Lantern Roof. The Classic Roof is a popular choice for obvious reasons, but the Cornice and Lantern roof are two very good alternatives.
